Ένα μήνα μετά την έκδοση Beta 7.480 βγήκε η RC για το Astaro Security Gateway (Έκδοση 7.490 RC). Τα προβλήματα που επιλύει αρκετά- επικεντρώνοντας στην απομακρυσμένη πρόσβαση μέσω SSL VPN – και μπορεί κάποιος να τα δει αναλυτικά στο επίσημο forum της Astaro . Η έκδοση αυτή είναι η τελευταία πριν την τελική έκδοση 7.500.
